Greetings once again to another blog post by your's truly, The QC Quail! Unfortunately, this is one of the last blog posts as we are nearing the end of Sprint 2 and the end of our project, Augustana Market.
For this week's update, we have done some debugging, added a couple of features, and set some last-week goals that we would like to have.
For debugging, we were having issues with some of the url's leading to the correct webpage, but after finding the root of the problem, they have been fixed!
We have added a delete feature so that a user can delete an item that they have created. In addition, we have allowed the user to upload images as well as delete images that they have added to their listings. One last thing that we have added is when the user auto-completes the ISBN number, the image for the ISBN is added to the images. Here is an example of that:
Our goals for the remaining of Sprint 2 are to polish our design of the webpage, finish the display of images that the user has added to Firebase Storage, and add needed comments to our code. We may also add a feature where the user can favorite an item so that they can look at items they have made favorite, but this will depend on how much time is remaining to finish up the other goals.
As Sprint 2 is nearing its end, we are excited to make our website available to the student body of Augustana College! After next Friday, May 15th, we will be having our Firebase project host our website so that any Augustana Student can use it. Stayed tuned for our final blog post!
